Our General Surgeons are ably supported with the Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgical technology to perform surgical procedures using minimal access methods whenever possible. Today, PIH has gone on to become one of the most trusted centres for minimal access surgery in the South Pacific region. The procedure results in lesser pain with minimal blood loss, quicker recovery, fewer post-surgical complications and shorter hospital stays compared with traditional surgeries.

The minimally invasive surgery has become a vastly preferred option for the treatment of abdomen problems and digestive disorders. The laparoscopic technology employs a tiny fiber-optic camera, video imaging capabilities and new energy sources for cutting and coagulation. The procedure is carried out by making one or more small incisions through which camera and surgical instruments are introduced.

Diagnostics

  • Endoscopic evaluations
  • Multiparameter patient monitors
